The actor, whose legs were paralyzed in a car accident, entered the room in a wheelchair and fielded awkward questions from Scott before finally telling him, "You know what, Michael, let me stop you right there and leave."
York, originally from Arcanum, Ohio, attended Anderson University in Indiana before moving
to pursue acting, with credits including "CSI: NY" (2006) and "8 Simple Rules" (2004), according to IMDB.
According to an obituary posted by Kreitzer Funeral Home in Ohio, “he loved TV and the film industry.”
