On Thursday, Colombian golfer Sebastian Muoz's "hole-in-one" at the 2021 PGA Championship
was a flop.
Muoz's 18th hole tee shot at Kiawah Island Golf Resort's The Ocean
Course in South Carolina
ended up in a temporary waste receptacle.

After confirming that the ball in the bag was indeed his, Muoz asked officials, "Do I have to get it?"
He removed the ball and handed it to a delighted fan, prompting one commentator to joke, "He's just given her his litter."
Because the ball had landed in a man-made object, Muoz received a free drop.
He then went on to save par on the hole, becoming a Twitter meme:
