The Greatest Multitasking Bat Catch In Fenway Park History Is Made By A Red Sox Fan.

We may be exaggerating when we say this is the greatest multitasking bat catch in Fenway Park's 109-year history.

On Sunday, a Red Sox fan was talking on his cell phone when he grabbed a bat that had flown out of the hands of Angels batter Jose Rojas.

(See the video below for more information.)

The man doesn't miss a beat as he intercepts the bat with one hand and hands it to another nearby fan, all while keeping the mobile chatter going.

Who was on the other end of the line? A long-lost relative? A weekend stockbroker?

We'll never know, but they should know they were as important to this man as a dangerous wooden club hurtling into the stands.

The Angels scored four runs in the second inning, which NESN called the "best Boston highlight" of the game.

Boston was defeated by the score of 6-5.
