Angry Djokovic's Racket Ends Up In Absolute Ruins, Just Like His Grand Slam Dreams

Novak Djokovic smashed his racket to smithereens during Saturday's bronze medal match at the Tokyo Olympics, losing to Spain's Pablo Carreo Busta.

Following Carreo Busta's break of serve, the Serbian slammed his racket into the net post.

He'd thrown a racket into the stands earlier.

It's a good thing no fans were present.

The umpire issued a verbal warning to Djokovic as a result of his antics.

His semifinal loss to Germany's Alexander Zverev on Friday put an end to his hopes of completing a Golden Slam, which includes victories at the Australian Open, French Open, United States Open, and Wimbledon all in the same year.

This year, Djokovic won the Australian, French, and Wimbledon Opens, and he will compete in the US Open, which begins in August.

Following the loss, Djokovic withdrew from the mixed doubles bronze medal match with teammate Nina Stojanovic, citing a shoulder injury, giving Australian duo Ashleigh Barty and John Peers the podium spot.

From the start of his career, he has shown that he has a vile temper and an ego problem. He has covered it rather well over the years but occasional explosions have occurred. He is a dislikeable person and somewhat like a spoiled child who didn't get his way. Not a good sportsman!
