Giannis Antetokounmpo Celebrates NBA Victory At Chick-fil-A

Some athletes go to Disneyland or Walt Disney World to celebrate a big win, but Giannis Antetokounmpo does not.

The Milwaukee Bucks star went to Chick-fil-A to celebrate his team's NBA championship victory over the Phoenix Suns.

On Wednesday, Antetokounmpo went through a Chick-fil-A drive-thru in Brookfield, Wisconsin, with the team's NBA championship trophy and his own MVP trophy to get some post-tournament grub.

To go along with his 50 points in Game 6, he ordered a 50-nugget order and documented the chicken run on social media.

Antetokounmpo admitted not sleeping the night before and referred to the trophies as his "babies."

According to the tweet, the Bucks appeared to be fine with it.

After Antetokounmpo placed his order, fans at Chick-fil-A began chanting "Bucks in 6!" around his SUV, according to WISN in Milwaukee.

Antetokounmpo even allowed one of his fans to touch the NBA championship trophy.

After his trip, WISN journalist Stephanie Sutton cornered Antetokounmpo and asked him the all-important question: Why did he choose Chick-fil-A?

“I was hungry,” the basketball player explained.

Still, Antetokounmpo didn't lose sight of the big picture, and knowing he'd never have more clout in Milwaukee, he made a point of asking the manager at Chick-fil-A if he could have free food for life.
