During Trump's CPAC Speech, Fox News Broadcasts A Disclaimer About Trump's Campaign Lies.

Former President Donald Trump aired the same old election grievances on Fox News on Sunday, but with an on-screen disclaimer about his false claims.

Trump launched into his tired fiction that he received more votes than Joe Biden in the 2020 election during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas. After those comments, while Trump had switched topics, a chyron caption appeared on Fox News’ broadcast that said: “The voting system companies have denied the various allegations made by President Trump and his counsel re the voting system.”

According to Mediaite, the chyron remained on screen for 38 seconds.

Fox News is defending defamation suits filed by voting system companies Dominion and Smartmatic after allowing guests to spout outrageous conspiracy theories about the election being rigged.

Dominion has sought $1.6 billion in restitution from Fox News, while Smartmatic has filed a $2.7 billion lawsuit.
