Representative Madison Cawthorn Warns That A Door-to-door Vaccination Campaign Could Jeopardize Guns And Bibles.

As the Conservative Political Action Conference heats up, uber-right Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) warns on Friday that health care workers coming to people's homes to vaccinate them may also be looking for guns and Bibles.

“Now they’re talking about going door-to-door to give vaccines to people,” Cawthorn lamented during an interview with the Right Side Broadcast Network at CPAC in Dallas, adding that the plan would necessitate a “massive” operation.

“Then consider what those mechanisms could be used for,” Cawthorn cautioned, “they could go door-to-door taking your guns, they could go door-to-door taking your Bibles.”

Cawthorn, who lied about being accepted to the Naval Academy and about a car accident that left him partially paralyzed, was apparently shocked earlier this week when President Joe Biden called for a COVID-19 vaccination outreach program as the delta variant spreads and the U.S. coronavirus death toll approached 607,000.

“Now we must go community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood, and oftentimes door-to-door — literally knocking on doors — to get help to the remaining people,” Biden said.

Cawthorn's warning sparked outrage on Twitter, as well as new concerns for health-care workers knocking on doors in an attempt to save people's lives.

How can anyone believe Madison Cawthorn's claim that the Biden Administration is using the vaccination campaign to steal their Bibles and guns when he lied about being admitted to the Naval Academy? — Rick Ocean #Resister (@RickOceanMusic) July 10, 2021

It would be funny if it wasn't creating a dangerous narrative for people who go door to door. — Tammy (@tammy1667) July 9, 2021

I signed up to volunteer for the door-to-door Mandatory Obligation Vaccine Enforcement Squad (MOVES) back in January, but never heard anything back, and it was BABIES, not bibles. — Random Internet Guy (@rinetguy) July 10, 2021
