does everything she can to shield her children
from the outside world, but it's not always easy.
The “Jennifer's Body
” star became emotional during an InStyle magazine interview
published this week in which she discussed the "mean, awful, and cruel people
" who target her three children.
When the interviewer asked about the actor's sons, Fox began to cry — and then quickly stopped — while discussing what her "babies" go through, particularly her older son, Noah, who is 8 and sometimes the target of online bullies.
“I don’t want him to have to read that nonsense because he hears it from little kids at his own school who say, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,'” Megan explained.
The actress has previously discussed Noah wearing dresses, and she has stated that she has told her son to be confident no matter what he wears.
“We’re going through that right now, where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says,” Fox said on “The Talk” in 2019 with her then-husband and three-children's father, Brian Austin Green
“He stopped wearing dresses for a while, and he just wore one to school two days ago, and when he came home, I was like, ‘How was it? Did any of your school friends
have anything to say?’” she explained.
“And he was like, ‘Well, all the boys
laughed when I came in,’” Fox continued, “but he's like, 'I don't care, I love dresses too much.'"

Green also supports his son's right to dress however he sees fit.
In 2017, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum told Hollywood Pipeline
that he didn't mind critics who disagreed with him.
“If he wants to wear it, he wears it,” the actor said, adding, “He's not harming anyone by wearing a dress, so if he wants to wear a dress? Awesome. Good on him.”
