David and Victoria Beckham
understand the key to a happy marriage: matching outfits.
David celebrated his wife
and their iconic fashion history
with a funny Instagram
post dedicated to his wife and their iconic fashion history.
“22 years later, still matching outfits,” the 46-year-old joked in the caption of his Sunday Instagram post. “Happy anniversary
love you so much and thank you for giving me our amazing kids so we can all wear the same.”
The post included a gallery of the two in matching outfits, including a sleek leather number, an all-purple look with flowers and a cowboy hat, and a sweet photo of the entire family
in matching pajamas.
When "2 become 1," it appears that coordinated appearances are a must.

Victoria told Vogue
that the leather look in the slideshow "haunts me like you wouldn't believe" and that she would never wear it again.
“I think it was relevant at the time. I think so. Maybe it was just as funny back then, I just didn’t know about it,” the fashion designer said in a video for the magazine in 2018. “And actually very cute. They were really stiff.”
“But the strange thing was, it was a Versace event, but we showed up wearing matching Gucci leather, which is bizarre,” she said of the 1999 ensemble. “And I still have these. I still have these outfits.”
Maybe they'll put them on display for their 50th anniversary?
Victoria shared a sweet throwback video to commemorate the couple's anniversary over the weekend, and fans
got a glimpse of some of the coordinated looks.
She previously revealed what makes the couple's marriage work
, claiming that it all comes down to focusing on their children
and having a strong support system.
“You know, I think the kids are our priority, and everything we do revolves around the kids,” he said on the “Today
” show in 2019.
“But we both work really hard; we both love what we do professionally; we support each other; and, you know, we're very lucky to have found each other and lucky to be growing together,” Victoria added.
