The Los Angeles Dodgers Will Pay A Visit To The White House To Commemorate Their World Series Victory.

Do you want proof that America has changed since Joe Biden was elected president?

After winning a championship, sports teams are no longer able to avoid the White House.

For example, the Los Angeles Dodgers will pay a visit to President Trump on Friday before their game against the Washington Nationals to commemorate their 2020 World Series victory.

Chris Meagher, the White House's Deputy Press Secretary, confirmed the visit on Twitter on Thursday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers' trip to the White House is the first by a champion sports team since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the first with Biden in office.

The visit last week seemed to excite Coach Dave Roberts.

“I hope Vice President Kamala is there; I'd love to meet her as well as the president, but it's an honor.... It's something I've always wanted to do,” he told the Los Angeles Times.

The visit represents a significant shift from the previous administration, when teams and players refused to meet with then-President Donald Trump.

The Boston Red Sox have a number of players.

The Raptors of Toronto are a professional basketball team.

Sean Doolittle, a pitcher for the Washington Nationals, cited Trump's "divisive rhetoric and enabling of conspiracy theories."

The New England Patriots are missing half of their starters.

Some teams, on the other hand, did celebrate their victories with Trump and found the experience enjoyable.

When the former president invited the Louisiana State University football team to the White House to celebrate their national championship, he spent much of his time discussing his impeachment trial rather than the team's victory.

He also celebrated Clemson's national championship by providing the team with McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King food.
