Colbert Mocks Trump By Playing Actual Excerpts From His Rambling, Incoherent Speech.

Stephen Colbert was unimpressed by Donald Trump's weekend rally because he didn't bring any new material.

Instead, he recited the same old gripes and grievances, with lines lifted directly from his previous rallies.

At one point, the "Late Show" host held up a lighter, much like a concertgoer would, but for a very different reason.

“Let me be clear: this lighter does not indicate that I am excited,” Colbert said, adding, “You are just so boring that I'd rather set myself on fire!”

The show's wildest lines, however, were not his quips, but Trump's actual remarks as Colbert played a series of clips of flubs and misstatements from the speech, including a claim that astronaut Neil Armstrong was sent "to a plant."
