Luke Bryan Had To Tell His Angry Mom He Didn't Father Maren Morris' Baby
In Luke Bryan's case, mother didn't know best — yet she heard first.
On "Ellen" Tuesday, have Ellen DeGeneres joked the "American Idol" judge about a newspaper misunderstanding that prompted reports he fathered a kid with individual nation star Maren Morris. (Watch the clasp underneath.)
The wedded Bryan howled uncontrollably and subsided into an interesting story.
"Along these lines, I'm having espresso, and my mom calls me and she goes, 'I'm staying here perusing some tattle thing,' which I don't have a clue how she buys in to an online tattle thing at any rate," he said. "And then she goes, 'It says you fathered Maren Morris' youngster.' And I'm similar to, 'Gracious my gosh. I needn't bother with this today.'"
Bryan sent the article to Morris' better half, Ryan Hurd, who ended up composing his tune "Waves." "And I said, 'Pal, I think we need to talk,'" Bryan reviewed.
Allowed the chance to crush the talk everlastingly on daytime TV, Bryan didn't squander it.
"I'm not the dad," he said. "We can call Maury Povich or anyway you all need to go about it."
Povich, obviously, is a host known for controlling paternity tests on his show.
Bryan hit the talk plant pound when the Sun a month ago mistakenly composed that Morris had invited a kid with "spouse" Bryan a year ago, E! reported. The Sun rectified the blunder.
Morris messed around with the conspicuous misstep. "I surmise the feline's outta the sack @lukebryan," she composed on an Instagram Story.
