A Supermarket Chain Prepares 13,000 Pancakes For A Guinness World Record Attempt.

At a Missouri location, a grocery store chain set a Guinness World Record by making 13,000 pancakes.

Hy-Vee assembled a team of 13 chefs Thursday at its Blue Springs location to spend 7 hours and 16 minutes cooking 13,000 pancakes.

A Guinness World Records adjudicator was present to confirm that the serving of pancakes broke the previous record of 12,716 set in Russia in 2017.

Harvesters-The Community Food Network, a regional food bank serving the greater Kansas City area in both Missouri and Kansas, received the pancakes as a gift.

The attempt coincided with the launch of Hy-Vee's "Best Breakfast in America" menu.
