Lauren Boebert Tweeted About A 'Disaster Presidency,' And She Received A Shocking Reality Check

Rep. Lauren Boebert's (R-Colo.) latest Twitter jab at Joe Biden backfired in the same way that many of her previous attacks on the president had.

Six months into Biden's "disaster presidency," Boebert claimed on Friday that she had "yet to see a liberal be able to praise Joe Biden on his own merits."

“It’s always ‘But Trump’ or ‘But the GOP,’” the Colorado Republican said.

Six months into this disaster presidency, I have yet to hear a liberal praise Joe Biden on his own merits. It's always "But Trump" or "But the GOP." — Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) June 25, 2021

One Twitter user asked, "Is this a joke?"

Other critics reminded Boebert of Donald Trump's disastrous presidency, particularly his handling of the coronavirus pandemic:

I am a liberal, and I am praising Joe Biden on his own merits. — Rachel Alter, MPH (@RachelAlter007) June 25, 2021

I'm a Republican, and I applaud Biden's performance thus far. You, on the other hand, have demonstrated your incompetence day after day. https://t.co/PQFEsRnnOq — Mutatis Mutandis (@mutatis1) June 26, 2021

Getting tens of millions vaccinated, rebuilding trust with allies, and ending the heinous subservience to dictators and thugs... people of all political stripes see we are better off. — Joseph Robertson (@poet_economist) June 25, 2021

1. Biden approved COVID relief. 2. Biden reached a bipartisan agreement on an infrastructure bill. 3. Biden declared Juneteenth a federal holiday. 4. Biden visited Tulsa and paid his respects to the victims of the Race Massacre. — cheese (@DeepLake437) June 25, 2021

I applaud President Biden for being able to reduce the number of Americans dying from COVID-19; if we had left that fucking crazy ass Trump in charge, we would have had well over a million dead. — Christopher Eagle (@eagle4congress) June 25, 2021

President Biden has compassion, experience, and vision! President Biden has extraordinary skill in selecting talented, ethical, and visionary people to serve in his administration! — Leland Hermit (@AngeloBCollie) June 25, 2021

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. https://t.co/E4e2swYWp7 — Hill (@Beamo23) June 25, 2021

Finally, infrastructure week!! Thank you, President Biden!! https://t.co/f8idXNDXED — sureJan (@CO_jan40) June 25, 2021

"Cheap shot" Boebert has done nothing to help this country heal. https://t.co/Gkhjgbh9wU — therebis (@therebis) June 25, 2021

What's the disaster? If you can't see and recognize the turnaround, you're...oh why bother. Instead of working for all people to have better lives, you work against prosperity and progress. You tweet nonsense all day and troll. Do something constructive. https://t.co/4hnq5uNzuG — Maxwell Dumb (@MaxwellDumb) June 25, 2021

200 million vaccines in 100 days, zero cabinet members indicted. — Louis (@1tweet4mamkind) June 25, 2021
