Could Matthew Perry
possibly be more awkward?
On Monday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live
," Sarah Paulson
told a hilarious, Tyler Perry-filled story of utter rejection.
According to the 46-year-old "Ratched" star, Paulson's story took place at a "make-out party" thrown by the late Carrie Fisher
. (The event, Paulson explained, was inspired by and named after the late author Gore Vidal, whose shindigs in Italy
The guests, who included Shirley MacLaine and (possibly) Queen Latifah, were asked to draw names from a hat and "make out with whomever you pulled out of a hat," Paulson told Kimmel.
“And Matthew Perry drew my name from the hat and promptly exited the room,” Paulson explained.
When Kimmel asked Paulson how she knew Perry had her name, she said Perry confirmed it by saying, "I got you."
According to Kimmel, Paulson then suggested that she and Perry kiss, and “he was like, 'No.'"
Perry, according to the “American Crime
Story” star, did not want to kiss her because they already “knew each other a little bit” through a mutual friend.
But Paulson claims she finally got some sweet Bing action in the early 2000s, when she and Perry played romantic partners on “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.”
“And then I got my kiss!” Paulson exclaimed, “and boy, did he regret not taking me up on it back at ‘Gore Vidal's Make-Out Party!'"
Now we're curious if Paulson met her boyfriend
Holland Taylor at a Fisher make-out party as well...
