Stephen Colbert Ridicules GOP Inaction With A Perfectly Set Up Gag
Stephen Colbert considered President Joe Biden's initial 100 days in office on Friday with a humdinger about GOP inaction during a similar period.
The "Late Show" have noticed how "this crossroads in history wasn't only a restart for the administration" yet "likewise a possibility for heads of the Republican Party to venture up and fill the vacuum left by the past person with their intense new vision for what's to come?"
"Jimmy, we should roll that recording," said Colbert.
At that point came the gag, hammering Republicans for zeroing in on counterfeit embarrassments thus called drop culture rather than strategy recommendations:
"Do we have that recording? … We don't have film? ... Since they didn't isn't that right? … They just got all teary about Mr. Potato Head's missing penis? ... Alright."
