'Friends' Stars Perform Mini 'Carpool Karaoke,' And James Corden Almost Kills Them

Carpool Karaoke” made a brief appearance on “The Late Late Show” on Wednesday, when host James Corden took the cast of “Friends” for a ride in a golf cart, which ended in a bit of drama.

In the scene, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry belted out the sitcom's iconic theme song — "I'll Be There For You" by The Rembrandts — during the production of the "Friends" reunion show, which aired last month.

“I've always wanted to do 'Carpool Karaoke,'" Cox said after the six actors and Corden, who hosted the reunion show, finished their singalong.

However, when Corden parked the cart, he failed to properly apply the brakes, causing the vehicle to roll back, much to the surprise of the actors.

“Honestly, I almost killed the cast of 'Friends,'” Corden deadpanned afterwards.

“For a split second, I thought we were going to die,” Aniston admitted.

Later in the segment, Corden walked around the sets of the show's apartments, recreating some of the show's most memorable scenes.

He then joined the cast on the set of the Central Perk coffee shop for the "Best 'Friends' Test," during which LeBlanc revealed a telltale sign that Aniston had broken scene and one actor admitted to still wearing shoes and dresses from the show's wardrobe.
