A Giant Beer Snake Slithers Into Fans' Hearts At A Chicago Cubs Game

The beer snake, which was nearly extinct during the pandemic, reappeared on Sunday at Wrigley Field in Chicago, and it was quite a sight to behold, with the connection of empty beer cups serpentining through many rows of fans.

It was dubbed "incredible" by ESPN.

The Cubs went on to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-0, tying them for first place in the National League Central Division with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Wrigley Field began allowing full attendance on Friday, but the Cubs have yet to achieve an inoculation rate that would allow players and staff to be released from strict protocols.
