Marjorie Taylor Greene: I Don't Believe In Evolution Or That Kind Of 'Science'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who supports conspiracy theories, probably surprised no one with her latest anti-evolution stance on science.

“I don’t believe in evolution,” the QAnon adherent said on this week’s “Real America’s Voice” podcast with former Trump White House strategist Steve Bannon.

“I don’t believe in that type of so-called science. I don’t believe in evolution. I believe in God,” Greene continued during a discussion about the possible origin of the coronavirus. According to a 2019 poll, an estimated 40% of Americans believe God created humans as described in the Bible.

Greene has become a GOP celebrity for peddling racist and antisemitic conspiracy theories, including one about Jewish space lasers causing wildfires in California. She was demoted from her House committee assignments in February after liking social media posts calling for the execution of prominent Democrats.

She compared House mask mandates to the Holocaust just a few months ago.

Thanks to Raw Story for the heads up.
