In Her TikTok Debut, Alicia Silverstone Goes Full 'Clueless.'

Alicia Silverstone, and thus Cher Horowitz, is a TikTok sensation.

The actor debuted on the video-sharing platform on Saturday with a recreation of an iconic scene from "Clueless." In her first clip, she appears in a replica of the yellow plaid blazer seen at the beginning of the 1995 classic, while No Doubt's "Just a Girl" plays in the background.

“Ugh! As if,” Silverstone exclaims, shoving away a teenage boy, just as she did in the original film, except this time the dismissed teen is her real-life 10-year-old son, Bear.

@aliciasilverstone Ugh! As if... I wouldn't join TikTok. #Clueless #AsIf

The TikTok tribute was well received by fans, with over 6 million likes as of Monday afternoon, and Silverstone's account gaining over 1.6 million followers.

For reference, here's the original scene:

For “Clueless” fans, the video may be the closest thing to a modern take on the film in a long time. Last month, it was announced that the NBC streaming service Peacock had scrapped plans to revive the film as a mystery series centered on Cher’s best friend, Dionne, played by Stacey Dash in the original.

However, according to Entertainment Weekly, all hope for a “Clueless” reboot is not lost, as CBS Studios is said to be “looking at new ways to approach the material” going forward.

In a Vogue interview last year to commemorate the 25th anniversary of "Clueless," Silverstone admitted that when she first read the script, she found Cher Horowitz to be "materialistic" and "really annoying."

“Once I started working on her, I discovered all of the heart and all of the love,” she explained. “She loves her daddy so much! And she's trying to be a supportive friend, so I just sorta put all of my love and heart into this character with these other cringeworthy aspects.”
