Think of it as a favor from a friend.
When he joined Jimmy Fallon
to co-host "The Tonight Show
" on Monday, Dave Grohl
shared a very cute story about one of his daughters and Paul McCartney
The Foo Fighters frontman began his story by revealing that he is a huge Beatles fan and learned to play the guitar as a child by strumming along to their albums.
The former Nirvana
drummer also revealed that he's become friends
with McCartney over the years, despite the fact that when they first met, Grohl "freaked out" and admitted that, even though he's now close with the legendary musician
, that feeling of awe "never wears off."

Grohl went on to say that around the time he had his third child, McCartney happened to be in town and wanted to meet Grohl's new baby, which he did after Grohl had removed all of his Beatles memorabilia from his home.
Grohl also stated that McCartney had a sudden urge to play music just before the Wings musician was about to leave.
“And he sat down and began playing ‘Lady Madonna’ on the piano in my living room,” Grohl remarked, amazed.
“Then my 4-year-old daughter, Harper, runs into the kitchen, grabs a coffee cup, fills it with spare change, and places it on the piano like a tip jar.”
The adorable anecdote was well received by Twitter users:

— SpringBun (@TigrisTheLynx) May 25, 2021 OMG Harper, that is so adorable and cool! So aware of a struggling musician's world at the age of four.

And, while Harper appears to have inherited her father's sense of humour, the Grohls are far from the only ones capable of pulling off a good joke.
